How to teach online with Roadmap
With classroom teaching moving online, many teachers are concerned about how to use their course books in a live online lesson so that learners are engaged and learning outcomes are achieved. In this webinar, Lindsay Warwick will demonstrate how you can use the digital resources that come with Roadmap to create a speaking lesson with language input and practice. Lindsay will suggest ways to adapt this plan to suit different class types and different online platforms, and give tips on how best to prepare for an online class.
She is a CELTA trainer and has delivered teacher development courses in the UK and abroad, on topics such as formative assessment, train the trainer, using technology in the classroom and helping learners to prepare for exams.
Lindsay is co-author of Pearson’s new general English series Roadmap A2 and A2+, as well as several other books including Expert IELTS 6, Gold Preliminary B1 and Gold Experience B1 and B2+.
Roadmap is a new, eight-level general English course for adults that recognises every class is different, every learner is unique.
Roadmap’s rich content and flexible organisation allows you to personalise your lessons to give learners the specific language training they need to progress. Engaging and clearly-organised with an extensive range of support materials, Roadmap makes lessons easy to prepare and fun to teach.
🏆 All participants will be granted a CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE.
