📍  Take it easy and relax during your Easter holidays!

Here you are some ideas to help you and your children (or students) to have some fun from home in English!

🎨 Arts & Crafts

Doing arts and crafts is a great way to keep you and everyone entertained whilst they’re at home and there are lots of fun projects you can work on together. These sites all give instructions in English, with lots of visual support to help you.

>> Make an origami Yoda or Pikachu with easy-to-follow instructions from Origami Way

>> There are lots of online tutorials to make games all the family can play together. How about a game of Twister, using this handy make-your-own tutorial

🍕 Cooking

The BBC Good Food website has lots of great recipes to get everyone in the kitchen over the next few weeks. Try a tasty treat like a rainbow pizza or a delicious dinner such as the vegan Thai green curry.

🎵 Music

Always wanted to play the piano but never had a chance to learn? Now’s the perfect opportunity. You can play online with this virtual piano and your children can also watch helpful tutorials from Smart Kids Piano on YouTube.

For those of you whose secret talent is singing, you can organise a team karaoke home party online!

👟 Exercise

When you’re indoors for a long time, it’s important to do some exercise and keep moving. Here are some fun sites in English with exercise ideas.

Joe Wicks is a personal trainer in the UK and everyday at 10am (GMT+2), he offers a thirty-minute live workout for children around the world. It’s a great way to get your heart pumping and all the family can take part.

If you’re looking for something a little more relaxing, check out Cosmic Kids Yoga. They have some wonderful videos combining stories and yoga for the youngest members of the family.

💄 Entertainment

During these days, we can also plan to watch some amazing shows from the comfort of our home. If you are a Cirque de Soleil fan, you can’t miss their 60-minute special.
