Pearson Teacher Training Morning in Alicante

Next week the city of Alicante will be starting its summer off with a bang with their spectacular yearly firework contest, and Pearson, as is also customary for this time of the year, will be offering our always popular training event for private language school teachers on Wednesday 27 June.

Our Teacher Trainer Elena Merino will kick off the training sessions with “Get them thinking: short video for key skills”, which explores how short video can help foster the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.

Then Michael Brand will provide us with some interesting thoughts on intermediate learners with “Making all the right noises: a closer look at B2 speaking skills.” This session will look at the inner workings of external B2 speaking exams, help you prepare your students for them, and also provide you with tips and tricks to know what is really expected of your learners at this level.

ELT Consultant Pedro Vega will also be speaking about Pearson’s new materials for Young Learners, Teens, Adults and Assessment.

The event will start at 10.00 at the beautiful Hotel Spa Porta Maris and be followed by a brunch and raffle of teaching materials.  And if you plan on sticking around until the sun goes down you can always grab a drink, find a spot on the beach and enjoy the colourful fireworks display too!
